STAR knife-type changeover switches are designed for domestic, industrial and commercial applications where individual mounting of switches is required. All units are fitted with strong operating handles, which drive the quick make-break mechanism for both the sides. The basic difference is that the current conducting parts which performs the making and breaking mechanism are in knife shape whereas the same parts in the rewirable changeover switches are in 'U' shape. The units are compact in size and takes less space while installing.
